We are looking for a reliable and experienced CDL Roll-Off Truck Driver to join our growing team at Dumpsters.com. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery, pickup, and placement of roll-off containers at customer sites throughout Northeast Ohio. Responsibilities

  • Safely operate roll-off trucks to deliver, pick up, and transport 1040 yard containers
  • Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs
  • Secure loads and operate hydraulic and auto-tarp systems
  • Ensure proper and safe placement of containers at residential, commercial, and industrial sites
  • Maintain compliance with all DOT and local safety regulations
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch to stay on schedule and respond to route changes
  • Accurately complete required documentation, such as logs, delivery records, and weight tickets
  • Provide professional, courteous service to customers and represent the company positively on-site
  • Maintain a clean, safe vehicle and follow all company safety protocols
  • Navigate assigned routes efficiently using GPS and dispatch instructions
  • Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

  • Valid Class A or B CDL with a clean driving record and D.O.T. health card
  • Minimum 12 years of commercial driving experience (roll-off experience preferred)
  • Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards
  • Ability to safely operate roll-off trucks and related equipment (hook lift, auto-tarps,
  • hydraulics)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to perform vehicle inspections
  • Excellent time management and communication skills
  • Comfortable with GPS and dispatch systems
  • Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and DOT physical


Education

  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred

  • Frequently interacts with external contacts and internal team members, requiring the
  • ability to exchange accurate information.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods while operating a commercial motor vehicle.
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50-75 pounds regularly.
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, and climbing in and out of
  • trucks and on and off equipment.
  • Use of hands and arms for operating vehicle controls and hand tools safely and
  • efficiently.
  • Exposure to moving mechanical parts, vibration, loud noise, dust, and odors.
  • Constantly works in outdoor weather conditions with a wide range in temperatures.
  • Occasional walking over uneven or rough terrain.
  • Must be able to meet Department of Transportation (DOT) physical requirements for
  • commercial drivers.
